It's on how to install Android 2.2 Froyo on an Archos 5 Internet Tablet. Please note that this voids your warranty, and I will not be liable for any damage done to your Archos 5 IT. So please be careful and follow these directions carefully. To start out you will need to download a few files. The first thing to download is the SDE firmware for your Archos 5. The download is available right here. I'd rename the file to sde_archos5.aos so you will remember what it is. Then you will need to download this compressed file with a few directories (cramfs, and system), and a few files that you will need later. The download will probably be pretty slow because my server is not best for file downloads. Please comment if you would like to host a mirror. Anyways, you can check out that file here...
